BuddySync Terms of Service

To use BuddySync, you must create an account via email/password or Google/Apple Sign-In. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information during signup.
• Keep your login credentials secure.
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized account use.

Your profile information (name, location, study preferences, avatar) and any messages sent through the app shall remain private. You retain rights to your content. We’re granted a limited license to:

• Store, back up, and transmit your data to facilitate matching, messaging, and Pomodoro features.

You confirm your data doesn’t violate any law or infringe anyone’s rights, and you indemnify us for any breach

We collect and process the following to provide, secure, and improve the app:

• Personal profile data
• Messages between users
• Usage analytics and performance metrics

Refer to our Privacy Policy for details. By using BuddySync, you consent to our data practices.

You agree not to use BuddySync for:

• Harassment, hate speech, or violence
• Spam or phishing activities
• Misrepresentation or impersonation
• llegal, obscene, or harmful content
• Circumventing or damaging platform security

All BuddySync content, branding, and software are owned by *BuddySync Learning Network Inc.* Protected by global intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or modify any elements without written permission.

Currently, BuddySync is free for all users. If we introduce paid features, we’ll provide pricing and subscription details in-app and in our Privacy Policy.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations, or at our discretion. You may also delete your account by contacting [support@buddysync.app].

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BuddySync, its staff, affiliates, or licensors shall not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages
• Loss of data, revenue, goodwill, or user connections
• Any user-generated content or interactions
• App downtimes, bugs, or content interruptions

Use is at your own risk. BuddySync is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind (fitness, reliability, etc.).

BuddySync offers no guarantee of study success, academic outcomes, or partner quality. We disclaim all warranties to the fullest extent of applicable law.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Canada (province TBD), without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute goes through local courts.

We may revise these Terms at any time. For material updates, we will notify you 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means you agree to the changes.
